Magic Bones – Once You Forget

Melbourne rockers Magic Bones have released a thumping new single called ‘Once You Forget‘.

Once You Forget is a pumping indie rock tune that is bound to have people tearing up dance floors across the country. At 1 minute 40 seconds its short, fast and sweet, and the only criticism is that it doesn’t last longer. From the opening couple of riffs, I was sold, and am a major fan of the vocals by Kiri O’Connor, whose husky punk enthused voice ravages this tune. In many ways ‘Once You Forget’ is the female equivalent of The Vaccines ‘Wrecking Bar (Ra, Ra, Ra)’, short, fast and epic. It’s an absolute belter of a track that highlights the potential that Magic Bones have, and having just released their new EP, lets hope its not a long wait for the next release!

In short, like the song, ‘Once You Forget’ is edgy fast paced rock at its best.
