The Dead Heads – When I’m Dead

Hailing from NSW’s Southern Highlands, The Dead Heads have highlighted their potential with their catchy indie rock debut ‘When I’m Dead’.

‘When I’m Dead’ is the kind of tune you can just zone out to one time, and bop along to the next, perhaps more in a 2:1 ratio of zoning to bopping. Its almost the perfect concoction of 60s fuzzed out psychedelic guitars and noughties indie rock with a smidgen of shoegaze thrown in for good measure. It drones through its paces with a delicious driving beat, reverb tinged guitars and these hazy vocals that just eat away at your ears. I’m also giving props for linking terms from title to band name, and needless to say we cannot wait to hear more of these guys before 2013 is out.
