Glass Towers – Halcyon

Melbourne indie poppers Glass Towers have returned with new single ‘Halcyon‘ off their impending debut album ‘Halcyon Days’.

‘Halcyon’ had me hooked from the outset with its progressively building and incessantly catchy intro before dropping into a more intense and complete wall of indie pop sound. It is just filled to the brim with punchy, upbeat, positive vibes and is a perfect soundtrack to fuel a night out. Having been suitably impressed with debut EP Collarbone Jungle which featured singles ‘Jumanji’ and ‘Tonight’, ‘Halcyon’ indicates that Glass Towers have the goods to be really become one of the bigger acts on the Australian music scene and are gaining a real reputation for writing some brilliant high tempo, rocky indie pop. With an album dropping pretty soon, Glass Towers are one band you should definitely be checking out.
