The Boys from Deep Sea Arcade are back with a psychedelic, reverbed little number that has us twitching in anticipation for the rest of the album.
Black Cat is the first single off their much-anticipated follow up album to Outlands. Masterfully produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat who has worked with the likes of The Kooks and Lana Del Ray to name a few, Black Cat is a crisp celebration of Britpop and acid rock. Layered guitars provide a ‘1960s London aura washed over a simple but effective rock riff you can dance to.
With just the right amount of reverb added to Nic Mckenzie’s vocals, DSA have picked up exactly where they left off with Outlands. And with the new album release date to be announced soon, I’ve got a deep anticipatory tingle in my loins.
