Tigertown – New Single ‘Lions and Witches’ and Tour Dates

Sydney-based six-piece Tigertown have just announced tour dates off the back of their newly released single ‘Lions and Witches’ from their forthcoming EP.

After their killer self-titled debut EP, and popular single ‘Go Now’ last year, I was interested to see how Tigertown would back it up. “Lions and Witches’ combines beautiful harmonies and lavish intrumental layerings to create another indie hit. The high pitched keyboard notes, steady woody percussion sounds, and the group harmonies create a song that is chilled, mature and maintains that little sense of mysteriousness and intrigue. The Narnia inspired video clip is also an awesome representation of the track, and I like the way each band member plays their own little character. Have a watch below, its pretty funky, or download it from their unearthed page.

To celebrate their single release, Tigertown have also announced a string of dates for their ‘Age of Winter’ tour. Tigertown will be opening their tour in Newcastle on June 10th, before playing Adelaide (June 14th), St Kilda (June 16th), Melbourne (June 17th), Sydney (June 21st), and finishing off in Brisbane on July 1st. Ticket details can be found here, so be sure to catch them live.
