Osaka have released the infectious indie pop number ‘Anchor’ and I have been hooked every since.
Osaka in many ways are the Australian answer to Two Door Cinema Club. It has those snappy high pitched guitar riffs, but set to a slightly more low-fi background that the Northern Irish indie band. Despite the obvious almost dancy indie rock vibes, I cannot help but love this undertow of slacker rock. The sweet high pitched vocals of Edvard strike a chord with me, and make a nice centre piece for the slacker indie pop vibes to bounce off, and prove the point that Osaka are a band showing some promise. Keep an eye out for these guys!
